Welcome to todays diary entry! After the hectic party nature of yesterday today was a day for a little rest and recouperation and i am not sure if with the exception of going for the bread in the morning i am not sure if i have even left the motorhome today. Despite being here and the weather being nice sometimes there is something to be said for a calm relaxing PJ day under the air conditioning and that is what we did today. The mornings have a certain chill to them this morning so we have bought the Beef some really fluffy PJs. You could tell he liked them because when you passed them to him in the supermarket he grabbed them and held them to his face as he would do with his blanket.

With the excitement of the last couple of days we only went and missed our Vanniversary and as of the 2nd January ’23 we left the conventional bricks and mortar to set off on our 12 month sabbatical and we now find ourselves 2500 miles away from home in a bigger vehicle with a nearly 30 month year old. It does make me look back and think how on earth did we manage for nearly 6 months in a SWB Ford Transit with the 3 of us. That was some achievement and i dont think i could do it again. I guess we did it the right way around and started off with a smaller vehicle and made our way up. Rather going the other way. As funny as it sounds his age helped and there is no way we could do it with him now.

It would either have to be when they are really young or quite a bit older but at the moment he can climb too well and be way too adverse to safety to put him in a small space like that. He has too many toys now and just way too much stuff but then to be fair so do we. I wont be going down in size any time soon, which could be said for my waistline as well. Our life changed for the better when we got this Motorhome and despite its quirks and its weird bits it is our baby and we absolutely love. So many people say that the old ones are made much better than the new ones.
We obviously have not experience of as new one what so ever so we wouldn’t pass comment but this motorhome has been great for us and we have loved every minute of being in it. We have, over the last 12 month we have bit by bit being changing it to suit us as much as we can without changing the layout. It is pretty close to being exactly how we want it now maybe a few other tweaks in the next 12 months but it is not far off being just what we need.
