Welcome to todays diary entry! My lad has absolutely nailed this big bed malarky now! He is an absolute trooper. I think it is helped by the fact that he has dropped his nap in the day which at first was a bit of a panic as sometimes parents don’t want to drop that as it allows for a breather in the day but without that nap he is going down at 19:30 and then sleeping straight through until gone 07:00 in the morning and then waking in good spirits. I suppose that i was worried just assuming that he was not going to go to bed until the same time again but i was wrong.
It is really nice that me and his Mum are getting some time together in the evening rather than him sleeping in the day and then him being awake all night. He has really taken to his new bed and it is actually one of the best things we bought to be fair and should see him through the next few years until we maybe look to get a new van in the next 4 or 5 years when we will need a proper bed for him in some capacity. Whether that is a big bed at the back of the motorhome and then a lower down one at the front.

Another quiet day in the shop today and it seems a little like everyone is waiting for the NEC now to see what/ if any deals there are. To be honest these days it is a bit of a myth that there is really good deals there and there wont be anything there that you would not be able get from a retailer pretty much all year round. It just seems to people that is where the deals are. It does make it quite difficult for retailers and especially online sales people like me. SO just need to keep plugging away and doing what i can and hopefully have a good NEC online.
In just 20 days i will be starting my last day here for the year, it seems in the minutes to be going really really slowly but when you look back over the course of a week it is definitely flying in. I think we are definitely getting ready to go and have really really itchy feet but we staying put to help out as much as we can in the shop before the end of October. We have made peace with not leaving before the 25th and for the sake of an extra week i think we will be fine.
