Welcome to todays diary entry! We have a wounded soldier this morning! After we had all had a few drinks yesterday afternoon the whole decided to make there way down into the arena and go and have a big of a drink and a bit of a boogie but i was absolutely shattered so i waved Mum off and took the Beef back and went and got some food with the Dodge on the way back. I think we are both still reeling a little bit from back to back shows. They do take it out of you.
So i was in bed for maybe 10:20 pm with the Beef tucked in and i was gone as well, so this morning i was up spritely but Mum was not up spritely. She was actually feeling a little bit poorly so she spent the first few hours this morning lying in bed with with the Beef watching Wonka again for the 11 millionth time since he was born and she needed a little bit more time to see the daylight but i felt not too bad but i did still feel extremely tired and my plan was to get an extremely early night tonight and get my head down as soon as i can.

We have had a pretty good day in the shop today as well with some awning sales going through which is always a good sign. The key to this weekend will be the weather and how that does. Simon the rep from Dometic always says that you need a little bit of rain on these shows to get people out and in the awnings etc so we are due some showers so hopefully we wont be a million miles off perfect weather conditions. The main worry is always if it is a total wash out and it stops people from getting out as much as they normally would.
As soon as the shop was shut i got straight off and was in bed for 20:30pm and i said to Mum, that is me now, i am going to sleep now and i would like to not be disturbed if possible. So i was really looking forward to recalibrating my fatigue levels. Well, that was the plan but i initially got woken up at about 10:30pm with one of the worst Coldplay tributes i had ever heard. I did manage to get back over relatively quickly but there about 1am the rest of the crew got back and were dsat up listening to music and having a good time. So i managed to grin and bear it for about 40 minutes but by that point i’d had enough so i put my shorts on and went outside and picked up my music speaker and ‘politely’ asked them to be quiet and go to bed. Which they did in the end.
