Welcome to todays diary entry! We have finally been and reserved our pitches next year between ourselves and the Fegans. SO we celebrated in the only way we know how and that was with profiteroles!! We have spoke at large with them about booking for next year, i mean we were always going to come back as this will be our winter home for many many years and hopefully be in a position to be able to buy a chalet in a year or 2s time. I have opened up a savings account and i am going to put as much money into that as i can and then see how close we can get in the next 12 months and if it takes 2 years then at least we would had an asset that will only grow in value over the years as only property can.

So who knows, this time in a couple of years for people who wanted to come and see what it is like here so they can come in the future with there own motorhome will be able to do it and stay our chalet. I appreciate that is a long way away. The great thing is with our knowledge now we would be able to advise people on what to do if they wanted to have a quiet time, a busy time, sight seeing or just sitting on the beach. In my mind i see a couple/ a family walking into the chalet and having a booklet which we will have prepared for them with all the best things to do locally, with contact numbers of trusted people to do taxis or to do what ever it may be.

Also some hints and tips for the people who do have motorhomes a bit of advice on how they would probably get here in the motorhome or in there campervan. I think there is value for people in that for people. Coming to a new place can be a bit daunting but having some real life info on things to do i think would be great without all the fluff that you get with things like Trip Advisor. So we went up to the top and booked then and we will be here who knows it may be our last time spending the winter in our motorhome.
Me and Kel have made some plans to try and do some gardening whilst we are here and trying to grow some veg of our own by the wall. Kel has a had a little trial at it and he has definitely had some shoots come through but i don’t think they will get to see them for long enough to come edible. It was just more of a test to see if it would work and if they would grow so next year i am planning on having a little greenhouse and a little veg patch! I think having the heat from the back wall helps and will help because it just seems to bounce the heat back at the plants.
