Welcome to todays diary entry! We are still doing pretty well in the night time with this guy and whether it is down to just a phase or being on the site for a little while but either way we are enjoying sleeping more. I even got to watch a bit of a TV program the other day whilst he was asleep so that was nice. It is also nice to spend a bit of time just the 2 of us because we don’t get a lot of that. Although the Fegan’s a couple of times have very generously offered to take him for a walk which has been nice.
Even for that 15 – 20 minutes just being able to totally switch off is great. The time as you can imagine goes extremely quickly but you are always glad to see him come back. It is like when he has a lie in sometimes in a morning and by the time you have woken up, had a couple of cups of tea and then looked at your phone for 15 minutes you find yourself sitting there and thinking, right come on then now mate wake up. Although that doesn’t happen enough to moan about it too much but on the odd occasion its ok for a while but then you want the chaos to start.

Just some of his mannerisms at the moment are so cute and his talking has come on loads and ability to communicate is great. There is less shouting hey, unless he really wants to get your attention. When we are walking him in his push chair he can ask to come out, or he will come over to me and say “my shoulders” but what he is doing is repeating what he has heard me say when i have said to him “do you want to come and get on my shoulders”. When he has had enough up there he then says “a come down”. As this is coming from a 2 year old everything he says is just so cute. Although he can be a pain.
IN as much of the same sense he is learning to communicate he also has zero patience so he thinks that because he can tell you what he wants or he can do what he wants therefore that means that he gets to do whatever he wants to do all of the time. Then the tantrum starts if he doesn’t get to carry on doing his own thing. That is kids for you though and he is having a good time and enjoying it more every year that we come here. As i said last year next year will be even better as he will be able to communicate a bit more as well. All of the French old dears recognize him and love him. A lot like people that have followed the page for a while they have all watched him grow up.
