Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!
Welcome to todays diary entry! How in the sweet Jesus Christ is it September? Where has the summer gone? Why have we not had a summer? We can now officially say we finish for the UK next month. We agreed to stay a little longer so we can spend Halloween with my Mum and i think now we are going to go to Cofton for that last week to break up the drive to Plymouth. So our last day at A and E Leisure is will be Friday 25th October and then on the Saturday morning we will make our way down to Devon to sit out the next 8 nights until we make our way into Europe.
Things i will be doing this year is a huge shop before we go of things like condiments and all the other stuff you cannot get whilst you are over in Spain/ Morocco. Things like nice jars of sauce can be difficult to find as everything in Morocco is made fresh so if you cannot cook it yourself then chances are you are not eating it. One thing we have learnt to cook is Paella so we can add that into our culinary repertoire along with Lasagne in the air fryer so i am less stressed about the food this time round. The main thing is anti sea sick tablets and i am going to take a rhinos dosage and i will be making sure that i dont suffer with it at all.

So on the list of things we will be doing in Devon is visiting a chemist and explaining the situation to them and explaining that i get sea sick in the bath and see what they can do. All the old wives tales will be taken into account as well. So ginger biscuits, those things for your wrists they will be on. I have also heard about someone who suggests wearing air pods or something like that because it stops the levelers in your ears from working. I wont be having pints this time around i will be having water and nothing to eat. Unless i get really excited and then have a couple of pints.
We have paid a little extra for a cabin with a window this time as i am not sure that did me any favors before not being able to look out. But hopefully now with this being the 3rd time of doing it that should allow us to have a little bit more experience but my absolutely dream would be to be feeling fine and being able to watch the ship pull into Santander harbour because that place is brilliant for those of you that have done it yourselves but you sail in between some sand dunes on one side and the land on the other side. It is mad to think that a ship that size can get up there.
Our show finished today and we have had actually a pretty good weekend and the most important thing to remember is that effort does bring rewards so when you go out of your way to do shows like this especially in the shop a lot of what you do is extra profit that you would not have had if you had not have done the show. It finished on a bit of a dampener, literally, as about 5 minutes after i thought to myself, lets get these awnings down the heavens opened and it became like a monsoon which means that the pack down time now will be substantially longer and drag into next week as we should be getting ready for bus fest.
