Welcome to todays diary entry! Why, why, why did i do that. Not felt my best today and only myself to blame but i got through and actually despite all of the not feeling my best it has actually been a really really good day. Well, minus work being quiet but we got our motorhome serviced to day and fortunately nothing came as a surprise and everything weas done and it cost us exactly what we had budgeted. The only thing that we were not expecting was needing something done to the engine mount.
Which to be fair i knew something wasn’t quite right with it as you could feel the vibrations when you were starting the engine and stopping the engine same again. So when i started the engine once it was back at Northwich i just couldn’t believe the noise that it didn’t make anymore and how i couldn’t remember exactly when that noise started and stuff like that keeps creeps up on you and then all of a sudden you realise that it has started making a funny noise. I was more surprised that they were not worried about the sound of the drop of revs when i have just started it up. They said they are supposed to do that and i dont think it always made that noise but i am am by no stretch of the imagination.

So that is it really, we are pretty much ready to go now. To be fair whilst work was a bit quiet today i did flirt with the idea of maybe bringing the ferry forward again but looking at the next few weeks probably just a little bit too much going on. I couldn’t go before the NEC, or the NEC week or the first few days after the NEC finishes which is the week i go anyway so despite flirting with the idea i didn’t mention it to the Dodge. He wasn’t in the shop anyway. I will just hold that idea for a rainy day, see how much i annoy him before i go.
I don’t think he is particularly enamored with the reminder daily of how many working days i have left. So i think i will stop mentioning it to him. He seems less receptive to it than Lisa. Who when i mentioned that i may try and sneak off early was absolutely buzzing. And was less buzzing when i told her we are probably going to have to stay for the total allotted time. It is a bit like in the cartoon s when you have the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. The Dodge being the devil obviously, it is like when we are due to come Lisa says May and the Dodge keeps joking about March. I am not going to get involved in that talk i will let those guys decide amongst themselves and i will just do as i am told.
