Welcome to todays diary entry! Today was a pretty hectic day. We have been going to bed a little earlier so that has meant that we have been waking early and i especially have been waking about 07:00. I personally love getting up early and would do it all the time. I have always historically been an early riser. It was always a running joke. In my younger days i would wake at 05:30 in the morning to drive the gym run 5k and then be in the office at 08:30. The thought of doing that now terrifies me now.

Once the sun was up and we had done a few bits the main plan today was to go into Gibraltar and to go to Morrisons for a full English breakfast and do a bit of shopping and having a blitz on some treats that we have been missing out on over the last few months. Little treats as much as anything else like Nik Naks and kit kat chunkies and stuff, Vimto, hot dogs in a jar, you know the real essentials. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant and well worth the walk there although with all the shopping it was a lengthy walk back.

I’d promised Mum and afternoon drink so after we had put all the shopping away we walked alongside the Marina to a little bar and Mum took him to the park outside the front and i went inside it was far to cold for me and i also wanted to watch the Stoke game on my phone. It has been nice for the last couple of days to be able to just go to a bar and not have to plan a whole day around it and just have a few pints. Rather than it costing a fortune or needing to walk 3k just to get there. Although overall even if it wasn’t for the Schengen rules i would still go to Morocco because it is just that good.
Something incredible happened today. Stoke only went and won. I know the reason why, because we are in Spain we can use the Bet365 betting App and i bet on Stoke to lose which then means that we win. It is called curse betting and it works every time. We stayed in the bar until about 7pm and then headed back to the Motorhome to get packed up as we are going to try and dust a big chunk of the drive off to Santander. We would usually stay at Camping Don Quiote but it doesn’t open until the One of March so we could go there so we decided to try and push a little bit further up and try and get as close as we can and then dependent on the campsite maybe stay for 2 or 3 nights.
