Welcome to todays diary entry! I was up before the alarm went off this morning and i was pretty much all set up and ready to go the only thing that wasn’t already done was the electric cable being away. I wanted to charge everything up that would need it so we left that in over night and for the fridge. I do believe that this is probably the most organized we have ever been when it comes to leaving. We have a tendency to be pretty unorganised so it is nice to not feel totally totally rushed!

I wanted to be away for about 08:30 but we ended rolling off the pitch at about 08:02 so we went over the grid to let the Coca Cola infused grey waste out and there is no smell anymore. Coke really does do the job when it comes to getting rid of that smell so we were chuffed about that. So that was it, still dark (ish) and we were off site and making our way North, the first 30 miles or so getting out of Agadir itself is a bit of a pain but it is better than it has been in the past and after about 30 minutes we were on the big road. Our mileage target for the day was 380 miles which would take us from Atlantica Parc to Kenitra which then would leave us under 3 hours of driving tomorrow.

Once we got onto the main toll road the Sat Nav said that were 250 miles on that piece of road so we hunkered in and settled down but arriving there would mean about 100 miles to Kenitra so we could stop for food there and then have a slow drive to get up the road. A lot of our timings are out of our control and depend on what sort of a mood that he is in and to be fair he was just waking up as he got into his car seat and we managed to get to end of that motorway stretch before we decided to stop. He, fortunately for us, was on good form. We went into a service station and let him run about and then thought we would have an hour in the motorhome letting him play with some toys but he just climbed back into his car seat so we thought we may as well plough on.
Mum was in charge with knowing where we were going but i had cheekily put Tangier Med into my Sat Nav so i knew how close we were to the port and if i could try and get us here tonight that would be brilliant. We just kept chalking up the miles and with the exception of a strange detour south of Asilah through some of the most rural parts of Morocco we have seen we pretty much had the perfect run and we just arrived at the port at about 19:30 just as it was going dark. I was hoping for a 9pm ferry but that didn’t exist so he tried ot get me on the 11pm one which there was no chance so we are booked on for the 11am ferry tomorrow morning to Mainland Europe! The Beef has done us a solid there by being good all day!
