Welcome to todays diary entry! After the effects of the last few days i have taken the opportunity today to just do a little bit of relaxing and not doing too much at all. I think with the exception of emptying the grey water i have not left the motorhome all day. I have been looked after excellently as usual by my wonderful wife. Who if being a good nurse was an Olympic sport she would be an all time record holding gold medal holder. The Chris Hoy of being a nurse. Being honest i have felt a bit funny today and i couldn’t quite put my hand on it.

Although there have been quite a number of people that have been a little under the weather but we normally do pretty well. Rory has never been ill here despite being an absolute boy and rolling around in dirt and pebbles and stones. Kids do need germs though and he does get plenty of them here. I am more frustrated that this is our last full day today with the Fegans and i have not really been out much although they did come and sit round later in the evening i was inside watching my beloved Stoke City be absolutely average again.

You would have thought by now wouldn’t you that i would be used to weekly disappointment but still somehow it manages to get me every time. It is going to be so surreal waving those guys off tomorrow and we have been joined at the hip for a vast majority of the last couple of months so to lose that will be really gutting for all of us. But it will stand as good practice for when we say our temporary goodbyes a week on Friday. Wow, a week on Friday not even 2 weeks. That is even scarier that it. It is not even 2 weeks. It is mental how quickly that goes. It literally just flies past. One minute your here thinking that you have 3 months and the next you are booking ferries to get back etc. It is a very very cruel world.
All things however, must come to an end and then it will just be getting as much money in the kitty as we can for later this year and start preparing. We have semi arranged to have a weeks holiday in June at Cofton holidays with those guys so it wont be going totally cold turkey. A week in June then end of October till we get back here and get back in the sun. Settle down for the winter and if all goes well a full winter here and i will just be able to work a bit less and beach more.
