Welcome to todays diary entry! When we were planning our working year this year we were planning on not doing any as many shows as last year as the season last year was really hard work and really intense so we talked about perhaps maybe trying to do one a month instead of the 4 in 5 weeks like we did in end of June and into July. Man that was some of the longest days ever but even when it is like that it never ever really feels like work because you look around and there is a good core of people around you all with similar passions and interests.

Although looking at the calendar the shows seem to be mounting up for us already. We will arrive into the UK on the 7th February and work a week in the shop to then spend almost 9 nights at the NEC setting up the NEC and representing A and E Leisure on the Dometic stand. We then get home on the Sunday night and then straight into a working week then the following weekend we are having an Instore show at Northwich the following weekend so there will be little time for relaxing then. March really is the time the whole season really starts to pick and we pretty much double the work load in March compared to February but the good news we are now on 3 awning stands at the NEC.

We have the Gaffer on Camptech, Me on the Dometic stand and we have been given a spot on the Outdoor Revolution stand which will be done by Kian as well. That gives us more awning stands than we have had before and with Nathan being on the E&P and the VB stand as well so we have a great opportunity to give ourselves an incredible start tot he season in February and hopefully with a great NEC we can kick start our year. The instore show is another one that i am really looking forward to as well as the gaffer will no doubt bring his caravan tot he shop and stuff and the families can get together which is always nice.
Then it is my birthday in early March which will be the first time in a few years i will be home for that. It is also on a Sunday as well so should be able to go for a birthday meal or something like that. But like i said March is absolutely full on with Easter being late i expect April to be extremely busy as well this year. Then something i am extremely looking forward to at that point would be something new we are going to try which is doing a show similar to the Nottingham show we did last year in Nottingham but doing at Blakemere Touring park and doing a local awning show for Cheshire instead of Nottingham which is miles away. These should be our bread and butter customers who should be coming to us for everything ranging from servicing to hab checks and all sorts.
