Welcome to todays diary entry! Today has ended up being probably one of my absolute favorite days here this time. It was just so unplanned and as people always say it is the unplanned days that are the best. We started the day like a lot of others i as always go and fetch the bread at the front. I have had warm baguette for my breakfast now pretty much every single day since we have been on this site. For 12p for a baguette though why wouldn’t you! It is a literal no brainer. The thing is by the time we get them back here they are still warm and the butter melts or we have cheese spread on them. I then wonder why i don’t lose weight sometimes.

I always drop 2 off down the road to Mel and Aland and have a chin wag for a minute and then come back here. I sometimes take the Wee Man with me dependent on what time it is. You have to be quick these days else the French have them all. We had something to eat then around 1 o’clock we packed our stuff up to go for a walk and we were going to walk along the front then cut up and go to the shops and get some meat for the coming days. It was timed perfectly as the Fegans text and said did we want anything from the shop. We said no as we were going to go up there later.

About 15 minutes on the way i heard the bring bring of a bike bell and turned around and it just happened to be those guys and it somehow came up about going to the Hyatt Regency for a drink. Kel said the beers are on me and that was enough to lure us all in. We were pretty much at the turn around point so we let the Beef have 10 minutes on the park and then made the 500m walk further down the front to get to the Hyatt. That venue is nothing short of spectacular and when you are there you could literally be anywhere in the world. If that was somewhere like Miami or Ibiza or somewhere like that you are talking absolutely crazy money to be there. We just sat there in the sun, chatting the world away dancing to Moroccan music just having an incredible time. Literally one of those days that i will never ever forget. It was amazing. At one point we were all dancing in a circle with pretty much every member of staff, people were coming in from the beach front walk to dance. It was just a special memory shared with incredibly special people.
It is like what i was saying the other about people remembering you when you go to these places and you start building relationships with them. All the staff there no us, and they all come over and say hello, say hi to the Beef and they are all so nice. I can never understand how people like some nationalities just drive here with 3 months worth of stuff and then never venture very far away from there rig and never really seem to do anything. Always seems odd to me that they would do that when they are so many incredible places to go and see. We have seen most of them around here but that wouldn’t in a heart beat stop us form doing them again. I cannot imagine driving from France, as an example, and then just sit in my motorhome.
