Welcome to todays diary entry! First time in a while today we did the 5k walk along the sea front. We had some pretty gutting news yesterday that Lisa was being made redundant from work yesterday so having that walk along the beach front is not only good for the body but it is also good for the soul as well. Bless her, she was upset yesterday but i came to the rescue with a pep talk and a plan for how we can get her back up and running in the new year. The strangest thing of all was her boss was recruiting last week so it has really come a s a shock to everyone. Not only us.

But we have what we call “business meetings” on these walks where we put the world to rights and comer up with a plan. Another thing which is on our side is the fact that she gets paid a month in arrears so she i theory will get paid at the end of January for the work she has done in December so it is not a big financial concern for us just yet. We are hoping that with the new camping season starting in January that she will be able to support me as much as possible in the new year and help me with awning sales and other bits and pieces.

She has always been more technical than me and i have always been the creative one. She is extremely intelligent and then hopefully find some new work for her when we get back. I guess it means that in January we are going to be able to spend the best part of a month together the 3 of us doing family stuff and doing beach stuff and making the most of our time out here as much as we can. We always look at things in a positive way and always believe things like this happen for a reason.
To be fair we have been in far worse positions and we just seem to have an incredible knack of landing on our feet so i never get too worried. May just delay a little while us getting our hands on a chalet on the campsite in Morocco. I am still really really excited for the new year and Mum will definitely be a huge asset helping me and helping A and E Leisure take over the world a season at a time. In fact, Rog always asks her to do anything technical that i need to do and he knows that she a lot of the time is the brains behind anything that we do. I just take a lot of the credit and we always say that me and him couldn’t do 80% of what we do in the season without the support of the women behind us.
