Welcome to todays diary entry! Friday the 13th!! Full Moon on Sunday!! Somehow again seem to have one of those days where i seem to have worked for a lot of the day but i don’t mind it to be fair. If anything after yesterday and then again today i am really looking forward to getting back and getting the new camping season started. I am lucky really that i have something to look forward to for when i get back because as i am sure you can imagine the holiday blues after spending 5 or 6 months away must be horrendous. The day started like a lot of others and that was with a 8:00am phone from my boss back in Northwich.
Even though i am not back in the shop i have always tried to keep my finger on the pulse and in case they need me to come back in and manage the shop then always make sure i know exactly how the business is performing. Like i said though with yesterdays 2025 strategy meeting i am really excited for the new year. We have a really good core of a team now at A and E and i am extremely fortunate to be a part of it. I really am excited to see what we can achieve in 2025. I think from a conversation i have had today the industry has lost 20 – 25 retailers this year and it is forecasted ot be any better next year.

After i finished work we popped round next door to visit the Beer Bank Of Kel who tends to help us through the no beer times by letting us visit his garage and i write it up on a piece of baby like an old fashioned slate. I am not not too worried though as tomorrow we are going to Croco Park and then the Carrefour so we can stock up on food and stock up on some other bits as well as we have not been to the supermarket since we went to Marjane about 2 weeks ago. The Fegans offered to cook tea tonight and they made for us a home made curry cooked on an old style Morocco coal heater.
I am quite a fussy eater and despite this curry having quite a lot of bits i absolutely loved it. It had beans in it, cauliflower, onions as in chunks of onion and bits of tomato etc. Normally for me that would have ruled me out of having it but i was brave and ploughed on and i am glad i did. Lisa also made some homemade garlic bread and for the remainder odf the evening the motorhome stunk of garlic. The positive of that being that i will not have to worry about being burgled by a vampire any time soon.
