Welcome to todays diary entry! It is a little over a month since we got to Morocco now and i cannot tell you how quickly it has gone. To say that i love this place and especially the people round here. You do get to know everyone round here in the local shops and the local business and they are all so nice. They are always so kind and polite. One of many examples is if we are walking down the front by the beach if we walk by the restaurant they are all shouting you so they can wave at you and ask you how they are.
One of my best memories since we have been back was out night at the Hyatt a little while and it was the first time we had been in there since we got back and the staff were absolutely buzzing to see us again. The woman that worked there straight away was asking about Lisa and about the Beef and they really do care. The level of service and the staff is incredible and they don’t forget you. A hilarious example of that was at the beach today (not us). The Fegans were down there and on the beach there will be people that will try and sell you stuff whether it is peanuts.

Or whether that is mint tea, doughnuts, stones, hats, sun glasses, you name it and it is on that beach being sold. One of the guys that was there the last time we all went down to the beach was selling mint tea and i said later or if not later maybe next time. He smiled and said ok and he went off on his merry way and then you dont think anything of it, you just assume that they will forget and then you will have the same conversation with them next day you are there.
But this young lad selling his mint tea went straight up to the Fegan’s and then said to them “you promised me next time!! You were here before with the baby”. He was dead right although the Fegan’s never said next but as a gesture of goodwill Kel bought from his some mint tea. Having a bit of retail experience under my belt now i could not remember the faces and what people said that come into the shop. SO just how they go and do that and remember and be able to recall conversations etc is really really impressive. I would employ them in my shop any day of the week as there work ethic for relatively minimal return is quite brilliant.
