Welcome to todays diary entry! The thing about these trips is that when you meet some really cool people there will always be a time when you have to go your separate ways and i always think about our first trip to Morocco and how it was just us three until we met Ness and Gee and almost over night we became best pals and we just always went a 4 person team, well 5 if you include the Beef. They were just some of those that you meet and instantly get on with really well.
We pretty much were inseparable and from that moment and for the next 10 weeks a proper wolf pack. We did a 3 day excursion together which was a right laugh, we spent our birthdays in an all inclusive hotel as Gee’s birthday was a couple of days behind mine. We left Marrakech then made our way to Essaouira and it was with those guys that we discovered Atlantica Park. Another coincidence at that point was whilst we were walking around the campsite checking it out we met Mel and Alan at that point as well and we didn’t even know it yet.

Today felt a little bit like that as we proverbially waved off the Brookes and the Fegan’s. This was another Wolf Pack that had been created and those guys have gotten on so well that they have decided to make there way down to Agadir before the rest of us. Essentially doing what we would normally do which is to get there as quick as they can. They like will be in one place for quite a while so they, again like us have a garage full of stuff and they just want to get everything set up and relax. If it hadn’t of been for this convoy we would be there ourselves.
But today was our final preparation day for Morocco and we decide to leave Al Cadeisa marina and make our way to a little park up near the port. This is 1 million times nicer than the one we stayed in last time in the camper van. I think it must be a new one as it is very very nice and clean. I still have this head cold that i cannot shift and i have spent the whole evening not being able to hear out of 1 ear despite taking some cold and flu tablets as well. I just cannot seem to shift it. Hopefully some Moroccan sea air will clear it out and fix me and my man flu. We are ready for it and the convoy is ready for it!
