Welcome to todays diary entry! Simply put an absolute bucket list must see experience that i will never ever ever ever forget. You cannot adequately describe it, you cannot do it justice with words, you cannot do it justice with pictures. Moving images will never ever do it justice. Mum opted to take the day off as with the Beef not being well and based on how he has been last time he was ill we thought that this may be the peak of illness so if she could help for at least one day then that may be enough to get him through.
We came to Potes based on a recommendation and also because we were advised to visit Fuente De which is a little further up the road. As he wasn’t very well we did have a discussion as to whether we were going to miss out on the Fuente De which essentially is a cable car up a bloody huge mountain at Pico De Europa’s. It was simply put if he wasn’t well would we miss, would one of us go or would we try and get through it and drag him up and get him through because it is really a once in lifetime opportunity to get up there and see what, in the end we got to see.

I think we were blessed with the fact that he did not seem too bad to be fair and not a million miles off being in good spirits just the occasional shouting of “HEY!!” when he didn’t get his own way. But we was ok on the way up even though my ears popped as did Mums but he didn’t seem to mind it he just sat that and watched the world go by whilst i was frantically staring at the ground and couldn’t wait for us to get to the top and then from the moment we made it at the top all i could think about was getting back down to the bottom and getting on the floor.
I did think about bottling it at the bottom but i managed to build up the courage to get on with it and get up there. I am personally absolutely terrified of heights and i honestly dislike them immensely. Like i said i did think about crying off but i would have never have forgiven myself if i did. At the very top there is a platform that you can see through and i was trying to build myself up to standing on that but i just couldn’t bring myself to do so. Simply put, this was the most spectacular thing i have ever seen in my life. It looked almost as spectacular form the bottom as it did from the top.
