Welcome to todays diary entry! Holy Moly!! Here we go! This is it!! The end of the working year and the beginning of our winter adventures are here! And sweet Jesus Christ am i ready. I had pretty much been trying to manufacturer a reason to leave early all day but it seemed as though every time i was getting close to an early dart something transpired against me and before you know i was still at work at 18:15. I will get back to that later. The problems started when i woke up and actually felt quite hung over. A million times worse than i was on Friday last week after my visit to the Roman for the NEC.
So from waking up feel a little rough all i could thin about was getting away early. I even sent Lisa to get the laundry done early as i had already started to plan in my head an early dart. Then out of the blue Stuart who is our Rep from Dorema came to pop in. There was nothing booked in or scheduled and he ended up being there most of the day as we talked football, the NEC and other stuff. We also put some plans into place regarding what we wanted for the shop next year and i took great pleasure in advising him that we have more Dorema up now than probably ever before.

But because Stuart turned up another meeting i had in from 10am until 11:30 then got put back to 15:00 until 16:30 which then absolutely dropped a huge nuclear bomb on my early dart idea. So by the time that was done, the other meeting ran over until 5pm and A and E Leisure is not one of those places where you can just leave at 5pm. But i wanted to say goodbye to people and i ended up going backwards and forwards literally 6 or 7 time because i had forgotten certain things.
As an example id nearly forgotten my electric cable, i then decided i was going to top my water up a little bit and empty my toilet. I think we ended up leaving at gone 6pm and we had 2 stop offs to make on the way of which one was to my Mum and my Nan. Even before we had left the shop Lisa was crying because she wouldn’t hear Rory saying “Bye bye” to every single person in the shop.
But we made it on the road although we were no where near where id hoped to be by the time we had pulled over we were only at Gloucester services and id hoped to get us to Taunton Dean but he was tired, i was tired and Mum was tired. So pulling over early was definitely the right thing to do.
