Welcome to todays diary entry! It has been a really exciting day today and we finally have our semi air suspension fitted!! I cannot believe how much difference it makes to the actual look of the motorhome at the back. I mean literally you can see underneath it. I can see things that i have never been able to see before so it just goes to show how much pressure it must have been underneath and to think that i have been driving it like that for over 12 months, over 2 continents, over 10 countries and over 3000 miles. It must be absolutely loving it!
So that will take a bit of weight off my mind now when we are travelling as it is always something that i have been worried about. Another thing as well is that you can see the top of the wheels under the wheel arch and you couldn’t see that before. So i am absolutely chuffed to bits with it and to top it all off it has this mint dash mount fitted with 2 little levers where i can add air into it and take air. It is a very very cool little contraption. TO be honest i thought about getting self levelling but i thought i would save that for when we upgrade the motorhome in a few years.

After work today we drove to spend the evening with my Mum to see her for what may be the last time sort of time that we do so it was a bit emotional as well. The problem being is with MND i don’t know how poorly she will be when we got back. But i will remain positive that she will still be exactly the same as i have seen her tonight. She has access to a working stair lift now so she has the ability to go up and down stairs as she needs to. Rather than coming down stairs once and then almost being stuck down stairs for the whole day.
We had a chippy tea and did a music quiz and my Nan was there so we had a really nice evening together and it was nice just to sit there and relax a bit and just be in each others company. My Mums music influence has rubbed off on all of me, my brother and sister and they used to mock me in work before because i love 80s music and they used to give me all sorts of grief for my taste in music. Me and Lisa always do music quiz’s when we are out anywhere and i always win for us because of my vast extensive music knowledge.
