Welcome to todays diary entry! Here it is another week down in our big old countdown. Well we will still be in the UK in 2 weeks time but i will be working my last day at A and E Leisure until next spring. I have spent some time on the phone to Jen/ Gina (don’t ask) about the plans for shows next year and what shows based on this year we think we will be doing and what we can try and fit in. When it comes to us making our plans there are always a few moving parts and i like to try and plan ahead.
Like i have mentioned before Lisa doesn’t want to come back until May and the Dodge has mentioned coming back in March but i think we will come back at the sort of back end of April and then straight into a show. We think we are going to drop the Nottingham Shows and do something similar but do something local to us and then it isn’t as much work or stress then either. So i have ear marked Blakemere to try and tee up a weekend of 2 there and use the field that they have for the car boots.

The end of August show we had here was great but i think if we could have it on grass and make a bit of a spectacle about it and especially with the facilities that they have at Blakemere as well it would be brilliant to do it there. I wanted to have the responsibility of doing one at Blakemere in September but with the Dodges passport saga which delayed there holiday then i think we would have squeezed one in. The great thing about getting a head start with the Blakemere show would be being able to start advertising it now and try and build some momentum.
After work tonight we made our to the pub up the road to have a pint or 2 and this was the first time in an absolute age that he had fallen asleep in the day. I am not sure whether it is the fresh air or the running about the beer garden but he was literally falling asleep whilst he was eating some chips and by the time id had a swig of my beer ot look back down at him he was chewing said chip with his eyes closed. So there was nothing we could do about. I have gone full circle now i have gone from not wanting him to stop having a sleep in the to not wanting him to fall asleep in the day. Funny how the world works isnt it?
