Welcome to todays diary entry! As it is the time of year that the shop is winding down so today i treated myself to a day off. Well, i say a day off, i was still in work but had a day at the back in an awning where i could sit there undisturbed and do what i wanted to do. Which is as good as a day off in my opinion, we should have had a container of caravan covers delivered today but never ended up coming. So i spent most of the day still inside the shop just up the back and out of the way. I feel like i have definitely settled into the role now and rather than being quite uptight i have probably calmed down a little and relaxed and loosened up. I do think though that intensity in the beginning is important because what it does is it lets people know what expect and the standards i expect. I did face a little resistance but by continuing to plough on and tried to bring everyone together to the level i want i feel that i have worked through that now.

The irony will come in about 5 weeks odd when we leave and we are at peak levels of performance and then i will leave but they will be in capable hands with the Dodge. They think they have it tough now with me at the wheel but wait till the Dodge gets his hands on them in the midst of winter when it gets quieter and he is under pressure with the reduction in sales. Thank goodness i am away lol. Although i will be away trying to alleviate there pressure by selling awnings a plenty from the safety of Morocco.
The departure date is now 6 weeks on Friday and you will hear me talk more and more about it the closer it gets and boy i cannot wait to get there i am also looking forward to doing a little bit more exploring. It is always important for me to explore on the way down to Agadir because once i am there and settled i wont go too far away for more than a night or 2. And then when it is time to pack up and come back from Morocco i have my head and heart at that time set on leaving so don’t want to stop too much on the way back. So it is on the way down or next time.
