Welcome to todays diary entry! Breaking news!! The gaffers last day was today so that means from tomorrow i have free roam over the shop. You could see he was extremely apprehensive about leaving and handing the reins over to other people. In the shop side it will be me, Odette and Customer Service Joe running the place. It will be my job to sort the shop and sell stuff, for Odette and her warehouse people to send the stuff out and then Joe to deal with the people who have questions and issues.
I pretty much mocked the Dodge all day about how i was glad that he was going. There is an element of the truth in that because it will be good for him to see that we can do it without and he disconnect from the matrix a little bit. Don’t get me wrong i totally understand how nervous he must to let go of something although it is only for 2 weeks the though of leaving your business behind in the hands of 3 people must be terrifying especially as he has built this on his own, obviously with peoples help along the way but being his baby it must be hard.

The hardest part will not be speaking to him about 5 times a day on the phone, or his Mrs as well Jen/ Gina (don’t ask) as i spend large portions of day speaking to her as well so not speaking, or at least trying to not speak to them for hours a day will be weird. I am not quite sure what i am going to do with all my free time in the day. Maybe do extra work or something like that. To be fair it has been a long day after having that time off and then coming back in today after Saturday .
We spent the evening planning our winter a bit this evening and boy does it get me excited. Every time we have been back we also know it a little bit better and have a better plan about how we can improve out experience there. Our big idea this time is to either get a fridge or a freezer in the awning and leave it to someone there who would benefit from it. The cleaners for example do loads for us on the campsite and i asked for one of them to clean our Cadac before we left and there was a misunderstood and thought we said she could have it so i am going to take her a Cadac back over this year. Maybe she could have the fridge after. In a motorhome and in Morocco you need a lot of fridge/ freezer space.
