Welcome to todays diary entry! One thing that has been nice has been to see how the Beef has gotten on with my nephews and how well they have taken to him. He is a proper real life genuine toddler now and he can be “one of the lads” to an extent. The older one Jack has been really good with him and has taken him for a walk and stuff with his rains which is nice just to have a little bit of a break and even if it is just for 20 minutes just to completely relax. As we near his 2nd birthday we have still not had a single afternoon off/ night off and we have spent every single night together.
Now i am not saying that is a bad thing but it takes its toll on you but i am not sure whether i would want him away for a bit. As when he sleeps in the day sometimes if he sleeps for ages after a while you do get bored and think “right, i am ready for you to wake up”. I think it is one of those things where i think i like the concept better than the reality. My sister kindly took him to the soft play earlier on today and we had an hour and it seemed eerily quiet in the motorhome and then like i mentioned above you think to yourself “i am ready for him to come back now”

He is probably thinking to himself that he is ready for a night away and that he would love to be away but it is probably me and his Mum holding him back. That is the funny thing about kids i suppose, i am have talked myself of wanting a night off and all of a sudden he is lving in the motorhome with us until he is 50. I am not sure how he would be anyway and i wouldnt want to put that on anyone in case he woke up in the night and didnt have his Mum there to give some milk or his dodie.
So i would be stressed if we were not nearby or in the same house so then you are not having a night off anyway because if he stirred then you would be on pins anyway ready to take over. Although i am sure he would be fine it is just the what if scenario. We are just to it always being the 3 of us and i think if he didn’t see his Mum first in the morning he wouldn’t like it. I know i was always a Mummys boy when i was younger.
