Welcome to todays diary entry! Here we go!! What a place this is! one of the best places on earth, i mean Newquay in general as well but i love this campsite. It is just such a well ran campsite and everything about it is brilliant. It is, in my opinion probably the best campsite in the UK and as a place as well Newquay is really nice. It is also one of the only places where it is ok to have a pint at 11am, other than an airport.
We were planning on having a slow pack up and being no rush but by the time we had woken up and spoke to Simmo we decided that we were going to get packed up as quickly as we could so we could make the 90 minute drive to get here as soon as we could. It should have been a 90 minute drive but we decided to go a slower way because otherwise the first 5 miles are really tight and single track road and after our debacle coming down the side of Loch Lomond couple of weeks ago i thought what is an extra 30 minutes but to keep the motorhome in one piece.

Something is not quite right about the motorhome, it seems to be dropping revs but only well idle but i think that means something to do with a filter or pressure or something like that so i am going to get it in for its service soon and hopefully that will sort it out. Apart from a few minor hiccups the motorhome has been absolutely brilliant the whole time we have had. Watch me have loads of problems with it now… We drove straight from here to the Morrisons just a bit further on that Hendra and stopped and picked up a few bits from shopping.
We checked in vias the touring field and we got set up and got the awning up and it was really really hot and i was sweating buckets so once all of the jobs were done i took the opportunity as i like to do when i have some time off is to daytime snooze and there is only one person who enjoys an afternoon snooze as much as me and that is this guy. We call it a team nap and we both go and get on the back bed and watch a bit of Wonka before we both fall asleep, normally me before him if i am honest. We didn’t win bingo tonight, that is one thing that is incredible about Hendra if you win the Bingo a full house is about £1000! That would be an absolutely holiday maker that would be wouldn’t it! Although i have never won it here, my sister did twice last year. The jammy cow!
