Welcome to todays diary entry! Today was almost everything you don’t want it to be when you are packing down. This is no exaggeration but it must have been about 40 degrees and when you are sweating Moretti and Tequila makes it very very very bad. Very very very very bad indeed. It was like i thought it was going to be, sales was still slow again and overall performance will be the slowest show we have had and there will be an element of that which is due to the fact that we have 6 or 7 absolute barn stormers but i would be lying if i said we have done as much as id liked.
Dont get me wrong we have done ok but not what i am used and there is definitely some questions to ask regarding how this show has gone down but that can be for another time. It is always best to let the dust settle first before we do that. To be fair we have not got much time left as we are away in 3 nights and i cannot tell you how ready i am for that. I know we have just come back from Scotland for 5 days but there was a lot of driving there so to be able to pull up somewhere and have a number of days in one place will be good especially with the facilities that Hendra has got.

Todays was the longest pack down in history and i cannot quite put my finger on to why that is, i suppose one thing that didn’t help was one of the warehouse guys accidentally parking the luton van in a hedgerow and not being able to reverse the van. I think part of that again was not having Benn there as he is normally such a driving force and his work rate is huge and when you have someone like him making you work at 1 million miles and hour makes stuff get done a lot faster.
Paragraph 4Like i say the heat was a factor and by the time we got back to Northwich and pizza ordered it was gone 10pm and i was absolutely shattered and couldn’t wait to get to sleep. One thing i have realised is that i am not a cowboy, i don’t like tequila and tequila doesn’t like me. So a few quiet days now ready for heading off to Devon on Wednesday after work to try and get somewhere close by 11pm again so we can be at the campsite for early doors on the Thursday.
