Welcome to todays diary entry! It is funny how one persons mood shift can be so detrimental to a group of people. Well this evening the cloud lifted and it almost seemed to lift for no reason simply just lifted. Its funnier that i can even pin point the exact moment it lifted. Both me and Jen (Gina) don’t ask…. identified the lift in mood straight away. It was a real thing you could feel the difference. In the future i think as an operation we perhaps need to mitigate against that and we cannot allow one person to be able to control the mood but that is for another day. In the mean time i enjoyed the clearing of the clouds.
We had some visitors this afternoon as we had the owner of Outdoor Rev here and those guys all went out later on. In regards to the chair situation on a previous day everyone got the same message today even Brent so it doesn’t matter to me who it is, if i think it is stopping me selling chairs then we all must stand. Although he took it well and to be fair he is a top top guy actually. He is one of the funniest people i have met. Very very dry sense of humor. What is even better is then me and the Dodge get Carte Blanche to give Benn a hard time because he is terrified of Brent. Which is always great great fun.

I have been keeping the shop open until late, as it has not been a barn storming show so far figures wise anything we can do to get any extra money in is always money well invested. We sent everyone out to the party tents as it started today officially today so me and the Dodge shut the shop up and just sat by the camp where we were. My only having 2 drinks rule had been broken today and i think it was partly due to the good feeling of the atmosphere being better but it was fancy dress tonight so i always enjoy ribbing people as they walk past.
Even my lady went out with Jen for a little while as well as she had a pass from previous show. Also to be fair she always works so hard and with the kids being here as well. We have had a little trouble in store with some stuff so the Dodge hasn’t even been here in the day he has been getting up early to go the shop and then coming here after so Jen has been in charge in the day and she has done a great job. It can be difficult sometimes being a woman and trying to boss a load of younger lads around but i think all of us are a little bit scared of her so we would never back chat her. LEast because of being the Gaffers wife.
