Welcome to todays diary entry! I love to look back at where we were 12 months ago just to see what we were up to and what where we were. When i look back at 12 months ago we were just leaving last years Camperjam and we were making our way to Scotland to have a few days away to see Lisa’s Mum and Dad and to try and sample some of the Scottish islands on the west coast but what we didn’t know back then was that we were not going to get very far because we were due to to get a call to say the finance had been sort on the Motorhome and that it was ready to pick up on the Monday.
The run into getting the motorhome was quite stressful as we had been let down about 12 months before when we were planning on buying a Camper, we fell in love with one but then there was problems with the finance company etc so we had the rug pulled from under us. So we were always really worried that something was going to go wrong with it but fortunately it never did and the rest they say is history. Since then we have done about 8500 miles and been to several different countries and 2 continents. We have literally had a whale of a time.

It is so scary to think how fast the last 12 months has gone and also the fact that The Beef is going to be 2 in the beginning of September. How on earth has he turned from that little boy into a the absolute tank that he is today roaming about a motorhome like an absolute Tank. It is always a little bit of a cliche when people say how fast time goes but honestly it really does doesn’t it. To be honest it is terrifying how quick it goes.
We have done so much over the last 18 months and it has been an absolute ball and it does make you wonder how long we can get away with doing this for. I am not sure about Mum but i am certainly not quite ready yet for giving it all up and going back to normal life. The good thing is to the Beef this is normal life and it has not changed him or i don’t look at him and sense any difference in with him and any other children. For example when we were at Camper Jam Benn brough his Mrs and his 2 boys along and they all played together and Beef loved chasing them around and he found them absolutely hilarious.
