Welcome to todays diary entry! Just like that! Camperjam ’24 is upon us and what a difference it has felt like this year now we are absolutely 100% a well oiled show team. You all just run on auto pilot and everyone knows exactly what is being done and what needs to be done at anyone point. The show officially opened up at 13:00, it should have been 14:00 but i think they were backed up onto the road so they have obviously let them come down early to get the road cleared out. We got that much done yesterday that today wasn’t anywhere near as intense as it has been on previous days.
I wanted to try and film a video of everyday of Camperjam but the excitement of day 1 got on top of me and before you knew we were all having celebratory successful set up beverage and I got to see some of my absolute favorites. A guy called Perry and his mate or ‘Pez’ for short. They are just all so funny man and they come and see us everyday of Camperjam and we just have a right laugh with them. You do get used to seeing the same faces each year and like i have mentioned previously they literally come and seek you out and your one of the things that they do and see every year.

There is a good side to that and a bad side because one hand there are people that you see every year and come and see you but the chances are that means that they have been to you before and bought from you before so less likely to come and buy again. Then there are poeple who bought things from you previously who want to come and tell you all about how good it has been for them. The only down side to that is that there was a woman that came and seen me and i couldn’t remember her a lot and then i think she got a bit sneeped that i didnt.
There was only one thing that had let everyone down, and we were all pretty gutted about it. Every year we have been there there has always been a bar called the Tiki Bar and they do a cock tail called a Zombie and we always end up having a night on them. They are really nice like fruit juice but with about 14 different types of rum in. You can imagine why they call them zombies because by the time you have had a couple you are in turn a zombie. The gutting thing was that the Tiki Bar wasnt there this time and it was a totally different bar which was nothing like the Tiki Bar. We talk about Zombies all year round so this was an absolute gutter for us all.
