Diary Entry – 13th June 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! Today the whirl wind that is my sister turned up. In previous entries i have said that we take it nice and easy on holidays but my sister plans every minute out pretty much. She didn’t arrive until about 8pm so we enjoyed our last day of peace and quiet. Let me start at the beginning of the day. Firstly, the most important thing to mention is that we are all recovered now from being poorly so we are definitely sleeping better, the only bug bear i have is that the curtains are not great and let quite a bit a light in so the moment it gets beyond sort of 5am it gets quite light in the static.

Always looks like i enjoy the kids entertainment than the Beef!

That is code for the Beef to think that it is party time and that it is time to get up but what we have done for the last couple of days is to get him up when he stirs on bring him into the bed where the light isn’t as obvious and then that seems to settle him back down and he ends up having another 2 or 3 hours asleep which is normally more than we have but it is nice to have a 30 minutes in the morning for a brew before chaos ensues.

When we woke up this morning we decided to take him swimming as that is something he has really taken to over the last few months. I think what put him off before has been the cold water and for you all of the hot weather in Morocco or in Spain they seldom heat there pools so the water is absolutely freezing. I always remember the time he went into the water at La Relais and he almost froze into a statue shape the moment he went in. I think when we get back to Agadir we will spend more time on the beach as the sea is always warmer than the swimming pools. My Mum managed to make her way over to watch him swim which was nice as that will be the first time anyone has been and watched him.

It was my brother in laws birthday today which was why my sister and those guys came down. After we had swam and went back and had a sleep in the afternoon me and my Mum went to eh Sainsburys a little further down the road from Cofton to get some Cider. He is a true true cider drinker so we had to get him some cold Cider for when they arrived. This was the first time we had had a couple of drinks in all the time that we had been here. They didn’t arrive until 8pm so by the time they got there we were tired so after a couple of hours and an hour in the onsite pub we went back and had some hot chocolate and a Wispa chocolate bar. I am just enjoying being well at the moment i don’t want to jeopardize it by being rough one day and undoing all of my good work.
