Diary Entry – 18th March 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! As we entered into a new week we also entered our final 10 or so days if Morocco in this stint. Safe to say the second we get out of Morocco i will be counting down the days until we return which should hopefully be a similar time of time as it was last year so aiming for end of October but i think that one our way down this time i may like to have a month here at La Relais as a bit of a pit stop and do the 6 hours from Tangier Med to here and then sit for a while and then do the remaining 3 hours to Agadir from here.

Diary entry
The Beef all geared up for Algeria away!

It has been nice to be back and have loved it, it has felt like a holiday and as there is a lot of UK vans it has been nice to get to meet even more people. We said last night that this is probably the best actual campsite as it is nicer than Atlantica Parc but the people in Agadir are nicer, not just the owners but the locals everyone just seems to be in a massive rush here so getting to supermarkets and everything is a million times more stressful than Agadir as well. Just when you think you have mastered Morocco driving you then get dropped back in Marrakech and you soon realise that you never master Moroccan roads and drivers. The drivers here make the the drivers in Agadir look like librarians.

It is still sweltering here, but today was the worst because it was cloudy so it was proper muggy. It was outrageously hot, so we had all the blinds up and it was almost pitch black inside with the air conditioner on. If we don’t have the screen over at the front then by the time the cold air makes it way to me it has been warmed up and loses its worth.

I think i am ready for europe and ready for the UK, it will be nice to get back and see everyone. To be fair as well 6 months away is a long time to be away for and it will be nice for everyone to see with their own eyes how much the Beef has come on because when we left he could only just stand up and lean against stuff so the change in him is massive. I especially looking forward to seeing my Mum and my Mum seeing the Beef. Although i am a little worried about having not seen her for 6 months how her illness has progressed as through Facetime it can be deceiving and you can only see the emotional side of it rather than the physical but i am sure that spending a few days chasing this guy around the house will give her a boost.
