Welcome to todays diary entry! Another Saturday another bit of a foggy head. After work yesterday I messaged the usual crew Dazzler and Michelle and Derren and Cassie to see what they were up to and me and Lisa had discussed about making our way down to the Hyatt and having some drinks as our stash was below critical levels but then Michelle had said that they had bought some beers from Derren and we were welcome to share them so that was it set rather than the lengthy walk to the hotel bar we were having drinks around HMS Brookes.
I think we ended up still being out by about 11:30pm which is far far to late for us we are not designed anymore to be up at that time. On the way home id managed to source a lie in for this morning but that never, as it never seems to normally result in a lie in. Although id swapped my lie in for an afternoon sleep instead which i actually got and i ended having about 90 minutes in the end. I woke up and then had the pleasure of watching Stoke get beaten again. I am accustomed to that now as it is pretty much a weekly event.

The great thing now looking back in my phone is seeing what we were up to this time last year and this time last year we were in Tarifa and Tarifa is probably one of the places we enjoyed the very least. I am not sure whether that was due to the weather or because the campsite was about as friendly as the Kremlin but we just didn’t like it there at all. The weather to be fair was terrible, I don’t mind a bit of rain or what ever but it was by the windiest place i have ever known or experienced and I wouldn’t go back there if you paid me all of the money in the world. Id have stayed in Portugal. If i remember correctly the drive from the Algarve to Algeciras is only 4 hours so it wasn’t worth the pit stop.
The campsite as well just didn’t have a nice feel about it, there was a restaurant on site and a bar but it was that bad in there that we walked off site to go to a Borussia Dortmund themed bar and spent most of our time in there have a few beers and eating pizza. Like i say it is not the sort of place that i would frequent again. It was the only time during the whole of our initial trip that we didn’t like it and I’m sure it was just a one off but it was absolutely awful.
