Diary Entry – 28th December 2023

My no beer streak came to an end. To be fair i did pretty well considering the time of year and considering Stoke won on boxing day as well. It wasn’t lots of beer but i had a couple whilst Mum did some paperwork so i took the Beef over to Coronation Street but by the time i got there he had fallen asleep so i pulled up a seat and sat there for 30 minutes. They were talking about there next stops and when they were planning on moving on. I think they will all be gone by the 5th or 6th of January which will make it very quiet for us here again.

We were supposed to getting some chicken and Moroccan sausage earlier on but we got side tracked talking about visa and extending it so we decided to delay the shopping trip to get our paper work sorted as out 90 days finishes end of January so just one thing less for us to worry about so tomorrow will be sorting that out. That sort of stuff always makes me stressed and causes me anxiety. I think a lot of the time it is the unknown and not really knowing what i am doing and never having done it before. Although from what i can gather it should be pretty easy. I am going to record the process so i can show others how easy it is.

Basically to do it you need:
Passports,
Credit cards,
Your vehicle V5
Your VIT
4 passports sized pictures of everyone
With some signed paper work from the campsite your on
They give you the paper work to fill in you then take it to the town hall and then they should stamp it and ok you for another 90 days. After that we will then need to do vehicle again as for some reason they only gave us 97 days on the motorhome as they took the dates from our passport rather than the actual time the vehicle had been in the country. But for starters we will do the actual visa as without them we have nothing.
