Well today did not go as it was planned, not even close. In fact probably about as far away from what we had planned as possible. Let me start from the beginning…. so when the Beef woke about 08:00 i think i needed to have an extra 20 minutes with my eyes closed and fortunately Lisa sanctioned it. SO whilst the Wee Man had his breakfast at the front with Mum i was at the back. I had an extra hour in the end and the difference in how i felt was miles apart so i definitely benefitted from it. We did a walk around the campsite as we needed to drop off a tambourine to an English van which let the Beef borrow for Christmas Eve. So as we were walking around Mum suggested 1 Christmas cocktail at the Hyatt. I was happy with that as it meant getting a 6km walk under my belt with the sea air blowing. Clear the lungs out and clear my head.
So we had a lovely walk and it was actually really nice and we sat down but then the first bomb shell for Mum, they didn’t have any cocktails. So i ordered a bucket of Casablanca so we could share them but Mum then opted for a Gin and Lemonade, we had a nice few hours and Mum had a couple of drinks and we ordered another bucket so that we could take what we didn’t drink and have one with our dinner. As my supply had taken a bit of a hammering last night so i didn’t really want to further reducer my supply. Initially i had put the beers in the push chair and we got told that we couldn’t take them away, ok so there was only 2 left but never mind. We went to pay after that and we didn’t have the wallet because it was at the motorhome and there card machines for some reason wouldn’t accept any of our several apple pay cards.

So Mum had to go and get a taxi back to the campsite but even when she got back she couldn’t find the wallet. So she had to borrow money from Coronation to get me out of the hotel because they would let both of us go. She then had to get the taxi back to me at the hotel to release me and pay for the drinks. All the while trying to work out what on earth we are going to do if we cannot find the wallet. The problem mainly was that every single one of our cards, drivers license, credit cards all were in there. And we don’t have a clue where they are.
