Whilst i have had a bit of time off i have been trying to develop my culinary skills a little bit. To say that they are relatively basic would be somewhat of an understatement. One of the things we are going to seriously look into and try to develop next year is Motorhome cooking and how you can eat well in a confined space. We have done 2 cooking videos this month which may be worth a watch. The first one was a Cadac One Pot Curry and the second one is from the image below and if i told you how i cooked that dish below it may surprise you. It was all cooked in one tray in our Air Fryer. It is Steak on Chips.
As you can imagine someone with an active mind needs something to occupy themself. Mine has been looking onto what can be cooked in an air fryer. The steak on chips is a funny one because i have always fried Steak. I am sure that 95% of people would fry a steak as well. With this, in the air fryer the chips go in first for 20 minutes and then the steak just get placed on top of them for 5 minutes on each side. I will never cook a steak in the same way again. I was concerned that the chips would go soggy with the meat juices but it doesn’t.

Like i mentioned before i wont cook a steak on a frying pan again. That is the beauty of the Air Fryer is that it is so versatile so expect to see more air fryer content over the coming days, weeks and months. I will be a motorhome chef in no time. All the talk of food though has made me miss some of the stuff from home. The beauty of Morocco is that pretty much all food is made fresh there isn’t anything processed. The challenge with that is that there are not many easy meals that you can throw in a microwave or something . So everything has to be cooked. I will be honest there are foods that i miss for example pies, bacon, sausage and ham. Although we have become very found of the Moroccan sausages that they have here i believe they are called merguez.
Oh and we finally found Gnocchi!!!
