Diary Entry – 07th December 2023

Mum was back in work today but it is nice having that little break in the week where we can do stuff together along with the weekend. To be fair working 2 days, 1 off, work 2 days, 2 off, is a pretty good shift pattern to have. It is almost as good as mine which is 7 off ha ha ha. I am keeping myself busy and i have been building up our blog directory and we have spent so much time collectively working on SEO and other tools to help us to do well. It is a good job that both me and Mum find it interesting because it does take up a lot of time.

Whilst we have been red-doing the website i have not done any diary entries so i’ve been thinking about whether we keep doing them or whether i just keep them in the archive and just do them for a year. I asked the internet to guide so i suppose if you read me typing this it means people have given me the go ahead. I really need to look back and see how much traffic it has driven. I think i would be surprised how much time people have spent reading it.

We went for a little walk after Mum finished work today so we were planning on just doing a potter along the front and then straight back however we ended up in the Hyatt and i ended having a couple of buckets of beers. Mum had 0% beer as she is doing 35 days with no alcohol and she has done amazingly. We are both trying to lose a bit of weight before Christmas and she has set that as her target. I have cut down on my food to make space for having a few beers a couple of times a week. We have both lost a few lb already so by the time the big day gets here i can be middle 16 stone which i would be happy with for now. Id love to be middle 15 for my birthday in March. With the set up we have here with the weather and the beach front walk there isn’t a reason why we could do it.
