My call last night went really well and i think we have a plan in place now. We have a bit of money saved up so I’m not worried in the short term about money. Last night i had the pleasure of speaking with the Dodge from A and E Leisure and before I go into what we spoke about i thought id give a little bit of back ground into my relationship with A and E Leisure. I started working for A and E Leisure in June 2022 and working in there shop doing sales and stuff in the awning show room. That was my initial escape from the stressful job that i had before working in finance. For those that may not have followed us for a long time we originally gave up our stressful jobs to go and become campsite wardens. However with the discovery that the beef was on the way we ad to park that idea.
With my passion for caravans, campervans and motorhomes i managed to secure a job at A and E Leisure which was my equivalent of doing that. I absolutely loved my time there and i would like to think they loved my time as well. Obviously our destiny changed course with the challenges we had in our labour with the birth which lead to us deciding to take a sabbatical which has lead us to where we are now.

So, now it is time to unveil the masterplan! So in the last few months i have been doing as you will have seen, some online sales for awnings and accessories etc. My plan is to continue to do that in the new year but dedicate more time to it and focus on that more. There are a few reasons for it really. Firstly, it is something that i am extremely interested in and something which never feels like work. Also, it will allow me to totally recalibrate my work life balance. We have never had an appetite to have thousands in the bank we aren’t like that. We are quite happy having less and being happier and spending more time together on the road as a 3. When we are planning to go back to the UK in April/ May time I am going to do some work in the shop as well alongside the summer campervan festivals. Hopefully now that should free up much more of my time so i can keep doing what i love which is creating all different types of content. Which would hopefully be enough, eventually, to mean that Mum wouldn’t have to work and we can travel more. As much as we like being here it would be nice to be able to have a whole year of travelling. I absolutely want to visit the Balkans, Turkey, Gerogia and Armenia.
