Today was beach day! This is our last week here 🙁 we are having a day at the beach with Ness & G, we’ve really not spent as much time at the beach as we should have. I think it’s just hard to get in the mindset to go because the beef is not a fan of the water yet. But then I think if we had made the effort to go every other day then he would be used to it by now. That being said he is only 8 months old and getting down here is a bit tricky in the pram. He’s definitely going to be a water baby by the time we come back.
There’s 3 beaches here, 2 are massive, and full of the surf school mob. One runs right along the front to Taghazout, you know the one, where Dickie walks the beef sometimes and stops for an infamous Casablanca at the Hyatt. I’d like to get another night there before we head North, but we might be struggling for time…anyhoo, the 3rd beach is the little cove in the middle of the 2 big ones, and to me is perfect. The wave jumping is sooo much fun. Today however we are going to the bigger beach that runs to Taghazout.
The waves were insane today. They were so big and the undercurrent makes it hard work to get out far enough to enjoy the water. After Dickie n G went in I had a shot. Nearly got wiped out by someone on a surf board 🤦♀️ then afterwards Ness watched the beef whilst me Dickie and G jumped the waves together. By this point the waves were really big and strong, I only lasted about 10 minutes 🤣🌊 I really can’t wait to come back here in October when the beef is a bit bigger and we can build sandcastles and splash around with him. Will make the heat a little bit more bearable when we can be in the water loads haha.
