Took the beef to Warrington today in the hope of getting him some bits from Primark and some other shops in the “mall”. Can I just tell you I have never been more disappointed on a shopping trip EVER. First of all the Sat Nav did that stupid thing where it tries to take you to the wrong entrance of where you are going, almost ended up driving the transit down a pedestrianised high street.
Then once in “the mall” thought both lifts weren’t working, but it was just that it took an age. Finally arrives at Primark about an hour after setting off when it should have took me about 40 mins incl parking doh. The selection for him was non existent. What baffled me was when I was checking the click and collect options there was over 120 items coming up in the beef’s size.
The reality was the shop floor only had about 2 outfits that were in his size, they weren’t even that good. Had a quick look in TK Maxx and was going to go to a Tesco as someone recommended there, in the end I shopped online at George and I’ll get to Matalan and Next in Northwich for a nosy too. Felt like such a wasted trip, I wasn’t even that fussed about the shorts and top I ended up getting for me, though I’m sure when we’re away at Cofton I’ll appreciate it more then. 10 sleeps til the caravan gets collected!
