We were blessed today with a day when it didn’t have any rain, which is an absolute rarity at the moment. I posted on Twitter earlier on that I couldn’t remember the last time it didn’t rain. This was a very important day!! Today had been earmarked as the day to tackle where we are going to put stuff in the camper and i am delighted to say we have done it, well 90% because obviously there are still a few things in the static which will need to go in but almost all of it is done. Which is fantastic, that was the first part of the day complete and completed on schedule. The second part was to record some more footage for the first vlog. Which was done, all going to plan until i tried to save it and for some reason Splice was freezing and so spent 3 hours trying to fix it. I am really chuffed with how the video had turned out so was gutted when i thought it couldn’t be fixed. But some tinkering and jiggery pokery i managed to save it and upload it to YouTube. THANK GOD FOR THAT! I had on our schedule to film 4 or 5 videos today but unfortunately because of the time wasted on Splice will only manage that and maybe a couple more videos tonight (Post 20:30pm).
We will have a very busy day tomorrow as Lisa will start writing our pieces for Campervan Magazine so i will be on filming videos where i can alongside Daddy day care. Although i owed a lie in so I may cash that in tomorrow morning. I still have those 2 cans of Stella, i have been threatening to drink them now for 3 nights but never get round to it. Now the camper is sorted i am really looking forward to Monday/ Tuesday next week, this is like an entry level adventure next week will be something else. I still need to finish off the plan and route for the remainder of the first 90 days.
The camper looks brilliant, everything is going to plan at the moment and (touch wood) and hopefully will continue to do so, there are over 250 people following the page now which is fantastic, not sure how many get round to reading the blog but i am very chuffed with how it is all going so far. It has proved to be more popular than i thought at this stage of the trip. Hopefully it will continue to grow and we can bring a bit of enjoyment and a smile to people in what is a crap month anyway, but in a really tough time as well. Speak to you all tomorrow. Rich
