It is journeys like that which remind me why i hate being a passenger. The 3 pints of Peroni were not worth it, i feel very ill now. Despite the illness it has been a fantastic day today, initially to see Claire and Taff in the Wirral and then onto our new best friends “UK Moho Touring”. We went from the Wirral onto Southport to pick up “Baby Dragon”. Before you ask Baby Dragon is a crotchet dragon which has been knitted by Julie. We didn’t want her to have to put her money in her own pocket to send him via a courier to get him to us before we went away on Monday.
I did manage to film another video today, edit it and start to upload it so 2 videos down now, with a few more to video tomorrow and then almost starting to see the end of the road for these videos meaning that on Monday we can start filming our travels on Monday and be ready to go.
Despite feeling travel sick i am managing to right this diary entry and listening to Stoke lose, SHOCK!! NOT!! I hate football, but 3 sleeps at this stage will soon be 2. We should be getting our last delivery of goods to my Nans house tomorrow as well, its been like an amazon depot there over the last few days and we would have been buggered without her these last few weeks. Thank you Nanny!
Chewing gum or mints help with the travel sickness.
Don’t forget to tally up the mileage and hours between places.
My parents kept a journal of the places they visited, along with times and mileage. They started off touring on a motorcycle with tent, before buying a VW Combi and touring Europe. Then toured the rest of the world. They had some interesting tales to tell, like the Arab that offered my dad camels in exchange for my mum, and being locked up in Russia for having been out beyond the curfew, to having amazing head massages in India. Love hearing the many stories for my dad.
Take care
Thank you Ellen!! I will just drive, I’m a better driver than passenger x
