Finally the day has come!! We are off!! We were up at 04:45 with the Wee Man who is going through teething like anybody’s business. So he not taking his bottles great meaning he is not sleeping great. To be honest did us a favour as we had so much to do in preparation for today. I unplugged the caravan, showered, emptied toilet, emptied grey water, turned everything off and pulled down the blinds on the awning.
FIlled the tank with diesel and it was 167.7p a litre was well chuffed with that so got a full tank and some crisps and treats for £136!! Winner! Had a steady drive down we can only drive at 60mph with the Fiamma storage box on the back so took a bit longer but only used a quarter of a tank which is a good sign for when we are abroad, i think we may only use 2 tanks a month which is very good for the budget.
We got to Cofton about 20:00 and had to do a couple of trips to and from the van to get some stuff. My main aim tomorrow is to get the Van sorted and have that in a position where everything is in its rightful place, it is a nightmare at the moment and that will do my head in. that is currently the biggest stress i have so, day by day, stress point by stress point keep chipping away at them until there is no more stress at all. Anyway, thats my fill for the day i am going to go and get in hot tub now, found 2 cans of Stella in my camper fridge so will dusting them off and then to bed early doors, been driving pretty much all day so looking forward to a rest. Having a lie in tomorrow.
