Another day in Portuguese paradise. Despite getting eaten to shreds by bugs, we are having a wonderful time in Fageira. The site has its quirks but so do most. It only has 1 toilet block of 6 open so not hot water in any of the others so if you want to do the dishes you have to walk 2 or 3 minutes. Which when you hate doing the dishes is enough to prevent them getting done.
I managed to get all the video footage off the 360 and be pretty up to date with everything which for the first time on the trip was a nice feeling. It’s our last full day here before we head to Nazare for our next leg. I’m really looking forward to going there!! I mean really looking forward to it!
As it was the Wee Man’s 5 month birthday we walked down to the local on the sea front and had a couple of drinks. Finally managed to buy him a hat and some sun glasses. He doesn’t mind wearing them which is good. Every time we had walked down to the sea front from camp we always walked past a restaurant and it had aways been closed previously but this time was open. The food, again was brilliant. We had some big meat feast, it was brilliant. Proper bbq stuff, I ate loads, had meat sweats, felt sick most of the night with heartburn. But I would do it again in a heart beat. Delightful stuff!
