We did something tonight that as a couple i don’t think we have ever done before! Everything we have ever done before has always been left to the last minute or rushed. Tonight after i finished work and I started to pack everything away. You may or may not be surprised to know we are still carrying a lot of crap. Tonight though we have had another attempt to try and whittle down that crap and utilise storage space in the Moho better.
The things that take up the most space at the moment are our Outwell chairs they are massive but worth every cm of space that they take. We always have a spare 11kg gas bottle as well. My main worry is that we have not go the awning in the Moho yet and i have no idea where that is going to go whilst we are doing the big march south. Being here has made me realise that i think we do need an awning for long stays even if it is just an additional place to sit or somewhere to put stuff if we need to take the motorhome away. One thing is for sure though, the bugs in France are way way worse than Morocco. It can be quite breezy on that Atlantic coast so i want to make sure we have plenty of space to put stuff without having to try and keep the sun canopy out unnecessarily.
To list some of the stuff in the back also, full Cadac and accessories, 3 plastic boxes filled with cleaning stuff, maintenance stuff for the Moho, Our Outwell truck to drag the Beef, our clothes airer, foam squares the more i type the more frustrated i get that we seem unable to get rid of the stuff in case we use the clothes airer once. Having been in this Moho now for nearly 3 months really if we have not used something it should get binned. Like the soup maker, our methodology for bringing that was sometimes in Morocco if the veg looks a bit weary then instead of throwing it out we can turn it into soup. I guarantee you now that soup maker doesn’t get used whilst we are away.
