There are a few well known super hero’s Batman, Spider man, Flash Gordon and Iron Man etc. But today we got to the see the emergence of another lesser known super hero…… Wind Break Man!! I have had a few promotions over my time working with A and E Leisure. I started off as a nobody and then worked my way up to toilet guy and became a fountain of knowledge on Thetford Porta Potti, onto chairs and knowing a lot about them to this. TO be fair they are very good and i demo them very well as well.
At camper jam we started selling a new product the Outdoor Revolution Pronto, they come in a 3 panel, 4 panel and the one we have have which is a 4 panel in poly cotton as we have a poly cotton awning. Around 3 o’clock in the afternoon the owner of Outdoor Revolution/ Blue Diamond turned up and in his Range Rover he had about 60 wind breaks that he had brough up to us. And none of us wanted to take any of them home especially given who had dropped them off. But what was nice was to see Ben on his best behaviour, he always tries to take over and be in charge but i can understand to an extent because the more we shift for him the more money he makes etc. Although it was nice to see him squirm a bit in front of his gaffer. It was brilliant in fact and we spent a vast majority of the latter parts of the evening giving him loads of grief to which he couldn’t respond perhaps how he normally would. Me and the Dodge tore shreds off him for about 20 minutes and i would be lying if i said i didn’t love absolutely every second of it.
It got a bit boozy in the end and we all just sat outside the shop until 1am and had a right laugh. We got told off about having our music too loud but i thought we were louder than the music to be honest. It has been another slow day but a decent-ish day for the weather. But certainly a slower day compared to Camper Jam. Hopefully things pick up before squeaky bum time sets in.
