One from me (Lisa) today! We’ve updated the blog so that we now both have our name attributed to diary entries and articles going forward. I’ve got some big plans for our travel blog this year, every spare second I have is going in to working on and executing that plan! I’ve started to take the laptop to the cafe in the morning when I head for breakfast. Depending on timings sometimes the beef is asleep so I’m trying to get as much writing done as I can when he’s having his naps. This morning wasn’t one of those days, as you can see from the pic he’s been enjoying his porridge in the cafe!
I’m super glad it’s Friday. Monday is the bank holiday in the UK (and here as it happens) and it means we have an extra day with daddy 🥰💗 We’ve been up through the night with the beef the last couple of nights so I’m hopeful of a relaxing Saturday. He’s such a good baby during the day though I can’t complain. I’m really hoping we see these teefle pegs soon, between his runny nose and drooling his face is constantly covered 🤣🤣
We’ve had quite a stressful day waiting on motorhome finance trying to get sorted. Alas the van we thought was the one was not to be. We’ve got a little bit of negative equity in the campervan, and the finance company don’t want to carry it forward on to a new deal as the age of the van we wanted was 10 years +…as it turns out because it’s also an import (left hand drive and EU sockets) that made it a no-goer for them too. We were both gutted as it was the perfect layout for us and although needed a bit of “modernisation” on the inside, we were looking forward to doing it up. Unless you’re a cash buyer I’m not sure how the dealer will get rid of that one tbh. We’re going to work on getting the negative equity down and stick to selling both the caravan and campervan privately. Wish us luck! ’til the next one xx Lisa
