When the dust finally settles on everything i will come back and put a bit of context of some of the reasons why this time is extremely stressful for us but that is a entry for another time. We are just concentrating on getting through this next few weeks and then being able to plan the winter in more detail. All we know so far is that we are aiming to be in Morocco set up, on site in early October. Our site will be the same one as before in between Taghazout and Agadir and apparently it gets really busy with Le French from November onwards so i want to make sure im getting us there and set up first before the pitch choice gets too limited. Lisa is awful in the heat so unless there are trees and plenty of shade etc.
To be fair we made a big list of our preferred pitches as a French man will be moving onto pitch 33 where we were last time. To be fair i didn’t like him at first but when they were leaving we went and said good bye he was saying he has been going to that site for about 15 years and usually goes on that pitch. He had a heart attack so needs to be close to the amenities. I had a bit of a fall out with him due to a bit of a misunderstanding. We are now friends and we said we will look forward to seeing him again. I am very much looking to getting back to Agadir. We have drawn out our pitch plans several times to make sure we are getting the best set up for the space we will have. We have been looking at wind breaks but the pitch width varies wildly.
But we are going to put up the awning and the sun canopy out as well. The awning will be a utility tent with a toilet room, kitchen, maybe a bit of a sitting room as well. Somewhere to put the chairs in rain, i believe that Mel and Alan are going back again this year and some people they know but Ness and Gee are heading to Turkey this year but we think we will do that next year instead. They i would like to do a full 12 month tour and not 8 or 9 months, it is trying to tie it all in with MOTs, services etc. I think if there is a problem with the Moho we will need to get the Camper MOT’d again, that will be the 3rd time it will have been MOT’d in 12 months. Its MOT will be due before Xmas and we definitely wont be here then. Well, unless something, somewhere has gone dreadfully wrong.
Sorry if you have mentioned it before but how are you getting round the 90day rule, do you have a tourist visa and if so is it hard to get? Thanks and good luck to you all.
Hi Lorna,
We spend time in non Schengen countries, for us that was Morocco but there are others too. We did a video explaining it here https://youtu.be/6ptWuK5xnxE
