Well today should have been the day but it wasn’t meant to be. We are doing ok about it. The most frustrating thing is that we packed the camper expecting to be getting the Moho so we have carried around unnecessarily a load of crap. It is what it is now so we are going to have go to the storage unit again today in Denton to empty Moho stuff and pack the camper with camper stuff that we will need for the next couple of weeks. We have a busy couple of weeks ahead as well and the Moho would have been ideal for it as well. Fortunately Blakemere have been dead good and are letting us stay on our seasonal pitch until Friday. We then have the dilemma of trying to find somewhere to stay until Wednesday morning as that is when we are heading off to “Camper Jam”. When worked at A and E Leisure last year i worked on one of the stalls selling awnings etc and it was a great laugh so that was an opportunity i wasn’t going to pass up. So me, Lisa and the Beef will be doing our first festival.
We have had a really busy day today, so on top of the drive from Devon to Northwich we then had to drive to and from the storage unit on the other side of Manchester to sort our stuff out. One thing we are totally buzzing for is to get the air fryer! We are really looking forward to that! All the stuff we had packed for the Moho out and the Camper stuff back out for probably 2 weeks. I cannot believe how much shite i’m storing in that unit. Granted a lot of it is fishing stuff but the amount of time the stuff has sat in there and the amount it costs id have been better binning it all and saving the storage money and then buying again. I had Xmas decorations and unit from my old house in Stockport.
My original masterplan to save the £100 a month for storage was to try and put my stuff in my Nans garage but looking at how much shite there is hear i just cannot see it happening to be honest. I had mentioned it to her but to be honest there is no way without a humongous clear out there is just no way. SO in total we spent about 90 minutes at the storage unit and about 7 hours driving today and i am absolutely knackered.
