Diary Entry – 26th July 2023

Show day!! It has been a tough day as far as days go, the pack up went ok. We drop shipped 12 pallets of stock straight to Dubbed out festival and i was in charge (as much as the Dodge allows) of picking the stock that we were going to take. It was a 7am start so we were making sure that were in the best position to get started. To be fair we were packed and ready to go for 09:30am but we always end up being a bit later than we expect but it is normally not long after the brew man turns up.

Think we were gone for about 10:30 but we were going to do a sneaky shop in at the Lidl in Northwich. We had no supplies and they also have a good deal on full fat coke. 24 cans for £12.50 which is about 50p a can so wanted to pick some of them up as well. I am still nursing that addiction to full fat pop. I cannot seem to shake it despite having a 110 litre fresh water tank and about 3 litres of cordial. Nothing quite hits the spot like an ice cold can of pop. Especially in our new little 12v fridge. It is amazing.

The weather is absolutely horrific. We ended having to pull the plug about 8pm because it was so bad. Just rained like mad. It is becoming a tradition now that we make a curry on a Wednesday night so whilst we are slaving away outside Lisa is slaving away inside and preparing food for us. This was our first curry in the moho so was nice to be able to put some breads under the grill. And we sat together all of us, including the dodges 2 girls and ate curry under a gazebo in semi torrential rain and a couple of beers. It was actually quite nice. And we all got an early night ready for the slog that will be tomorrow.
