Our last full day today here and what a week it has been. I have been coming here for many years and at times i have spent 2 or 3 months some years down here. Honestly this week has been one of my favourite if not my absolute favourite. We went swimming today to make up for the not swimming yesterday. He loves it now, i’m not quite sure i would call him a water baby yet but he is quite settled in the water now.
We got taught a bit of a holiday hack when your on campsites. Instead of waiting till you get home to do your washing and have about 5 loads to do, we have started doing ours whilst we are away so we can benefit from the huge washing machines and tumble dryers. We have found it stops some of that pre getting home anxiety knowing that there is loads to do when you get home alongside unpacking. It just means you put your clothes away as soon as you get back. We spent an hour doing washing and had a walk around the fishing lakes to pass sometime whilst we were waiting but after that we went and sat on a bench and watch the American cars leave the show.
A very very sad day today though as we should have been getting the motorhome tomorrow but our campsite where our seasonal pitch was have been so good and let us go back with the camper there until Friday. Which really has been a bit of a life saver really. To be honest i don’t know what the plan would have been if we had of got the motorhome tomorrow but we would have spent it driving round showing it off. If it takes another 2 weeks it takes another 2 weeks, it is just one of those things we have to deal with. We still in theory have 2 months of waiting around before we can go back abroad anyway whilst we wait for The Beef and me Mums birthday so straight back over. That plan is fluid as i am pretty much ready to head back now. The novelty of being back home has worn off well and truly
