What a lovely day we had! We had a lazy morning at the van, with the instruction that I was to be ready for 2pm and not to have ate! We had quite an early breakfast so were both starving. In the end we had a sneaky pot noodle about 12:30 just to take the edge off lol. I had no idea where we would be going!
We left at 2pm and once we got to our destination I was a bit confused about where we would be going! It looked like a community centre from the outside, and there was a church. It was all fine though, we were going to this lovely cafe for afternoon tea. Oh my god. It was delicious! I couldn’t even get close to finishing mine. The scone, jam and cream done me in lol. The ladies in the cafe were lovely too, pushing Beef in his pushchair to get him to sleep so Dickie could sit with us all and eat at the same time. Great hospitality!
After the food we had to nip back to the camp to pick up Beef’s bag, in all the excitement we left it behind. Bag collected it was then time to go to another campsite where Ness & G’s friends were. I can’t remember everyone’s names, aside from Rachel who was really funny. It was her birthday on Monday and she started celebrating early. After the campsite shenanigans we headed to the hotel just along the road where more friends had gathered. They were all playing a cool game called Left Right Centre game. What a laugh! We didn’t win but we had such a laugh and a really ace day.
